Hi. I'm new at this group but been an admirer of UFO since 1971 when I saw it for the first time. After buying the 26 chapters in DVD my admiration grew stronger. Now, in the chapter "The Dalotek Affair", in it's prologue, the scientist interviewed said that General Douglas McArthur stated about the need for Earth goverments to close ranks and prepare an organization of space defense. Someone knows if this statement is true or a script invention? Thanks. --------------------------------- [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

MacArthur made that remark in the mid-fifties, prompting some to believe that the US government and senior military knew more about UFOs than they ever revealed. Just googled exactly what he said: "The nations of the world will have to unite for the next war will be an interplanetary war. The nations of the earth must some day make a common front against attack by people from other planets." |

I'm not sure about Gen. MacArthur's comments in your last posting, but I do recall former President Ronald Regan making some such comments in a speech possibly to the United Nations in the 1980's.....Pam |

Just read the further posting on MacArthur's exact words (thanks for finding the text for us!) and think this is amazing. If the 'rumours' are correct about Harry Truman coming face to face with 1947 Roswell aliens then the good General would definitely have been in the loop! Stanton's Friedman's book called Crash at Corona suggest these facts....kinda scary, ain't it? Pam > > "The nations of the world will have to unite for the next war > will be an interplanetary war.
