George Sewell on DVD (in the UK)

OK, George only has a small part (ooer missus) but anyway,
just picked up my copy of Get Carter on DVD. No doubt
the publicity surrounding the (oh no) Sylvester Stallone
remake has helped it make it onto DVD. A brilliant film
and well worth a watch.

I wonder if the George Sewell part (the fellow gangster
sent by Carter's boss to bring him back from Newcastle..
or Seattle, in the remake) has an equivalent in the
remake. Is it out yet in the US?

No, not out yet <sigh> But Michael Caine is going to have a small part
in it! <gawk> Sooooo, I guess he approves of a remake ....

The remake of Get Carter was released last week in Northern
California, so I assume it should hit other markets soon.

The Get Carter DVD is available for the North American region and is
available at Amazon.com and I saw it at Virgin Megastore and Tower
Records last week.
