Hi all Just in case anyone is interested, the link is below. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ViewItem&rd=1&item=160081752545&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=006 Kind regards Jill |
Jill, No disrespect intended, but folks putting links in posts need to learn to do it in a way that it doesn't 'break' in the post. I cut and pasted the broken link in your post, and it STILL didn't work, due to 'spaces' which shouldn't have been there. Finally figured it out, removed the spaces and then it finally worked. Took the resulting WORKING link to http://tinyurl.com/ which shrinks long urls, and got this: http://tinyurl.com/399ju2 Saves folks a lot of trouble. : ) Jeff tim_4905 <[hidden email]> wrote: Hi all Just in case anyone is interested, the link is below. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? Hi Jeff
Thanks for the advice and sorry. When I tested the link it worked for me........even though it did look strange. Hi Jill,
You're welcome, and no need to be sorry. Just trying to inform/help. Craziest thing. For fun I just cut and pasted the 'broken' link from the message posted to the group (as opposed to the email message), and the link worked fine! But the version I received as an email still has extra spaces and won't work. So the extra spaces must be an email issue, not yours. Either way, using tinyurl circumvents such problems. I've been using since it was mentioned to me by others about a year ago. Very handy. : ) Jeff tim_4905 <[hidden email]> wrote: Hi Jeff Thanks for the advice and sorry.
