Hi all,
My previous comments about Gerry & Sylvia Anderson prompted Nick
Williams send me the following clarification:

Just to correct an entry I've seen attributed to you in a recent SHADO digest:

Actually, this isn't true. Gerry has always offered Fanderson
outstanding support and encouragement, and access to some truly
wonderful experiences. The only thing he has ever asked in return is
that we do not involve Sylvia.
He has explained his side of their break-up and like all situations,
there are undoubtedly two sides to it, with the truth somewhere down
the middle (time does strange things to memories!). However, out of
respect for Gerry, and the unquestionable support he has given the
club, which has enabled us to achieve so much, we respect this one
wish. It is, of course, regrettable, that this prevents Sylvia taking
an active part in the club, in which she has in the past shown an
interest.
Gerry hasn't prevented us from doing anything, we've decided to
respect his wishes. Slight difference, but one that should be
clarified.
