Howdy Gang,
Glad to find this Yahoo Group. I've been a "UFO" fan
since its first broadcast on CBS when I used to watch
it on Sunday afternoons around 4 PM. It was always a
rush to hear and see the familar "ITC" logo theme.
However, it seemed that CBS was far more interested in
broadcasting golf tournaments which always seemed to
pre-empt "UFO" or else there would be some aggravating
"sudden death hole" which also pre-empted. Finally
after weeks of seeing the show maybe once or twice a
month, it soon disappeared completely, being replaced
by Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. I have to hate that
show ever since. It's funny how some episodes really
left an impression on me like "Timelash" and "Close
Up." It wasn't until this year that I was able to see
those episodes again by trading some tapes for them.
Does anyone have any idea or clue if A&E will follow
suit with "UFO" on DVD as they did "Space: 1999?"
