Hardware photos

Can anyone help with photos of the vehicles from UFO. At the moment I
am especially interested in the Space Junk Tracker/Destroyer from
Conflict as I am attempting to identify all the parts used to build a
replica. I have pictures in books but photos show more detail.

Barry

Before we look for photos, could you tell us what pictures/books
you have so far?

Thanks!

Have a look here,

The only photo I have is the one with Derek Meddings fiddling with
it. This I have been able to enlarge but the other ones are from
books and I can't enlarge them as well because of the printing
method. I have just come across another small colour picture on the
front of S.I.G. no 16 which has confirmed one part I was suspicious
of as it's unclear on the others. Would love a lovely side profile
as the rear end is a bit of a mystery - I have done loads of
screencaps but detail is fuzzy. I see that Paulo Maluguti sells a
couple but I have not had a reply from the e-mail address on the
page I found. Fanderson tell me that they licence all their photos
from Granada Ventures - they have not replied to my e-mail yet about
purchasing from their photo library.

Hope you can help,
regards,
barry

Yes, I think I have additional photos of this... I'll see
if I can find them (I just moved a month ago, and my UFO
stuff is mostly still in boxes) and scan them.

That would be lovely - no particular rush as I am not ready to build
yet.

Okay, here's a side view (sort of):

And here's a zoom of one of those Ken Holt/Derek Meddings
photos (different than the one you have):

Marc my jaw dropped when I saw that sideview! Gosh that rear end is
rather complex. Now I can try and postively identify parts and work
out that cage structure. Sheesh it's more complex than I imagined. A
great pity it wasn't used in the show more.

Here's a color version of that photo, as seen in a 1976 issue
of the British poster magazine "TV Sci Fi Monthly":

For the benefit of Straker and Ayshea fans, this scan includes
the entire poster... :-)

Could you use something like PhotoModeler to generate a set of 2D
images/drawings from the photos?

http://www.photomodeler.com/pmpro06.html

I know that's a bit of a stretch.

If I had pockets deep enough!
Pencil and my old school drawing board will do - looks like an
interesting programme though.
