Hi Everyone!
I went into NYC today to a comicbook show to check it out and to distribute fliers for the upcoming Space 1999 convention Main Mission 2000. http://www.cybrary1999.com/con2000/main.htm I saw a few cool anderson items, Supercar and Fireball XL5 comic books, original cover artwork for one of the Space 1999 comics, Mattel Eagles etc. And I met this guy named Jim who was selling some Anderson related photos (Including some behind the scenes photos, modelwork from Psychobombs)and he mentioned he had started a UFO club and either (I may be remembering this wrong) started it with Helen Weber or passed the club over to Helen Weber! I thought that was pretty cool! Anyway, it is a small world isn't it? |

I thought that was pretty cool! Ahhh, you met Jim Main, who started SHADO-USECC way back in 1979, and then when he no longer had time to run it, handed it over to Helen Weber in the late 1980's. Were the UFO photos high quality? Did you buy any? -- Marc Martin, [hidden email] |

Maybe I should have gotten his autograph! : -) I've been meaning to get or make some sort of gerry anderson autograph book and carry it around to conventions. I have one for Babylon 5 and have a bunch of signatures in it. |
