Hello to the Moderator and all members

Christopher-2
Well who'd of thought that one day I'd be moved to join SHADO. I
have to confess that I have not seen all of the episodes of UFO.
I'll now get the chance to watch everyone as I now have the first
boxed set of 4 DVDs and awaiting the next boxed set to complete all
26 episodes. Is that right? I only ever got to watch UFO whenever I
was allowed to sit in front of the TV and left alone to babysit one
of my yonger sisters Karen and my baby brother Robert. And I guess
it was around 1970 when I was watching this series. Has it been all
that long ago. Boy!

Those were my thoughts exactly. I used to watch UFO when I was 10yrs old. I
had insomnia even then and I had a TV in my room. My Mom woke up one night
and I was punished for a month. I think I saw maybe 5 shows then I was hooked.
I did not see another episode until around 1980 when they merged a couple of
minutes from different shows and made a movie. All I could remember was the
UFO sound, the walk of the female technician in the opening credits, the
opening theme and Ed Bishops hair. I waited 0 yrs for UFO to come to DVD and it was
worth the wait. bsl

Hi All,

For all those of you who live in the UK... Gabrielle Drake is appearing in "The
Inspector Lynley Mysteries - episode "A suitable vengeance" on TV tonight
20:50-22:00 on BBC1.

She plays the part of Lady Asherton who I think is Inspector Lynley's mother...

Best to all, Griff

She was on British TV last night as well, actually - BBC3 repeated 'A
Skin Too Few', the documentary about her brother.
