Hi, new to group and have a question

I just discovered this group as I was searching around for Space
1999 and UFO models. There seems to be great discussions going on
here.

I am a fan of both series and have the 1999 DVD megaset. I didn't
know the UFO set was even for sale. I guess I have been working too
hard. :)

I was wondering if anyone knew of any 3D modeling resources for any
of the UFO vehicles, space ships, etc. I do 3D modeling in my space
time and wanted to create some UFO based renderings, but I don't
really have the time to create all the props from scratch. I use
Lightwave, but I can convert from just about any format. I have
searched around on the net, but can't find anything UFO related.

Hi! Welcome to the group (ok, I really shoudln't be saying that, I
only joined about two weeks ago!). Hmm, 3D rendering?

I had a look in my Complete Book for you, then looked up on Google,
and i couln't find anything. I think when they originally did the
show they just drew them in 2D, and didn't really think about
dimensions until they made the models...

You may want to look up Derek meddings, as he was the guy who worked
on the models and how they;d work on the stage.
