You must be the first person here who has seen UFO in HDTV! I assume
that you are watching this on "Family Room HD" on Dish Network? I
have a coworker who gets this, and he told me that UFO doesn't look
quite as good as new material shot in HDTV, but it still looks
as good as any film.
I don't suppose you have any way of capturing/recording these
episodes? Even seeing a DVD copy (downconverted) would be interesting,
just to see the cropping. So far, the only thing I've got is
a few snapshots of someone's TV screen:
