I don't beleive it!!

Rich Klingman
A group dedicated to a TV show I grew up with as a kid. 'UFO' wasn't on
too long here in the US, but what shows I did see I enjoyed. I can look
back on it now and laugh- the special effects were 'cheesy' [the same
UFO, the same tinfoil-suited aliens, the same sound effects], but that
didn't matter to an 8 year old kid.

Sure you're not confusing it with Project UFO?

What tinfoil aliens?!

What cheesy effects?! - if the BAFTA's existed back then I'm sure it
would have won the FX category just as the new Dr Who has just done
for the Xmas Special.

uhm, yeah. tin foil? I dunno about your universe, bit
in mine the aliens are in bright red orange rubber
suits. with silver accoutrements that never made much
sense.

LOL.

Actually a rubber suit makes a lot of sense if its filled with green
breathing liquid. As to it being red and having a lot of chrome on it, perhaps it was
a fashion statement. Gee Gerry & Sylvia Anderson invented Styling and Bling
now embraced by Hip Hop culture. Always ahead of the curve. <vbg>

OK so they weren't tinfoil- we may have had a black and white TV at
the time, I don't remember- I do remember that the spacecraft had the
same sound in every episode, and that it looked like the
typical 'flying saucer'.
