I've been posting on the Space 1999 lists about this but UFO fans
will get a kick out of the mini Gerry Anderson track at this years
ICON. They're showing quite a few UFO episodes and having a talk by
John Peel who wrote some guidebooks on the Supermarionation shows in
the 1980's (Files Magazine).
I'm having trouble with my leg so I won't be able to see (or hear)
the talk by John Peel, plus Daniel Keyes is speaking at the opposite
end of the campus this afternoon and I've never seen him before (Met
him last night...very nice...author of Flowers for Algernon) so I had
to sacrifice seeing John for Daniel! But John Peel is local so I
have a shot at hearing him again. I have no idea if I'll ever get
the chance to hear Keyes speak again.
Also Space 1999 POWYS authors Bill Latham and John K Muir are at the
convention, saw both last night. everyone is doing great.
