IF THE ALIENS STARTING TALKING. . .

I'm not sure the encounter with Dawson in Flight Path can truly be called a"meeting with a traitor" as it is later revealed that Dawson has beenprogrammed with a probe inside his temple and I presume did not really have much choice in the matter! Certainly if we recall Dawson's anxiety as he returns from the UFO it doesn't suggest it was a happy experience for him. Almost all the characters who help the aliens have been brainwashed or blackmailed in some way. Only Turner in Timelash is a willing traitor and we don't know exactly how the aliens communicated with him, and a good thing toothat we have this mystery.

There was no secret meeting with STRAKER in a UFO.  It was a meeting with a TRAITOR in a UFO.  The Ep was FLIGHT PATH.

I think the one you're referring to with the memo was "The Psychobombs. " At least they communicated non-verbally, which is fine by me. I don't remember the secret meeting with Straker inside a UFO - which episode was that? Another couple of things that maintain the mystique of the aliens is that wenever see what their planet is like, and we don't get a very good view of the interior of the spaceships either. Sometimes less is more. . .

Yes, the mystery and mystique of the aliens that we're familiar with from
the TV series would not be present. It was compromised once or twice in
the series though, for me anyway - in one episode Straker gets a memo from
them, and in another they have a secret meeting with a SHADO traitor in a
UFO.
