For an organisation that`s supposed to be secret, SHADO doesn`t half
advertise its existence through its aircraft i.e., SHADAIR
on their hulls....!

And in Dalotek Affair, Foster travels over to Dalotek's base wearing a shirt with the SHADO logo on it. OK, the people at Dalotek know he's military, but I'd think the first question they'd ask is what does "SHADO" stand for.
Hope the SHADO folks had a cover-acronymn ready for sticky moments like that.

Re: Identified et al.

I wondered about the logo placement. When Skydiver pops up out of
the water, it says SHADO SKYDIVER on the side. I think I might
leave that off for prying binoculars to see. Wasn't SHADAIR just a
cover name for some type of air transport company identity?

WHile I am on it, as I await my Interceptor/UFO and Skydiver
diescasts next monday..

anyone know if Konami or Product Enterprise have any furthur models
lined up? Seagull X-Ray, Mobiles, even Straker's car would be cool.

Re: Identified et al.

SHADO

Here I am nitpicking again, and I may be wrong, but I don't think the 'Sky' portion of Skydiver says 'diver', or 'SHADO'. Interesting question about SHADAIR though. As for whether Konami or PE has any further releases planned, I asked about PE here about a week ago, and got no response. Apparently no one has heard anything. And I'm STILL jealous you're getting Skydiver AND the Interceptor/UFO! : ) I'm still waiting for my Skydiver to arrive via UPS. Hopefully they won't drop-kick it too many times...

That's true, but the whole thing does pop out of the water occasionally.

Re: Identified et al.

SHADO

Duh! Of course. What was I thinking of? Sorry.
Although, in at least one episode (Close Up), Skydiver makes sure no one is nearby by moving to periscope depth before surfacing. I'm assuming this is standard operating procedure.

That is to say .. "both parts" :D

.. not the underside of the hull, obviously.

Just looked on the back of my Skydiver box, and it shows a small pic
of a SHADO mobile in the 'coming soon' section! Very cool! Wonder
what the timeframe for release is on that one...
