Interceptor cockpits

Re my Interceptor cockpit images: please where is a good picture or
drawing of an Interceptor's dashboard that I could use as a texture
color map for the model's dashboard? Is there any evidence where its
control levers and pedals were?

Interceptor Pilot Helmets are fully visable as the pilots scramble and
enter the launch chutes to their aircraft. The face the tube and jump up to
enter the slide down to their pilot seats. I wondered if gravity would be
the best way to enter your fighter seat in a hurry on the Moon. It would be
very embarrassing to miss an alien attack on the base because you were
waiting for the moons gravity to pull you into your chair:) I will search my
archives for a photo. Marc no doubt has one posted on his site
www.ufoseries.com.

I have never seen a full scale mock up of the cockpit.

It isn't just gravity that pulls them down the chute. If you watch the sequence, you will see that they are pulling themselves into the chute to give themselves a boost in the speed department
