Introduction

Templar

Hi All,

Being a by product of the swingng sixties naturally I was nurtured on what is possibly the greatest ever 2 decades for Sci-fi Tv and of course the fantastic tales and potential future given us by the great Gerry Anderson.

Being born when I was seemed perfect as the shows matured relative to my age ie Born '66 Thunderbirds to '77 UFO Space 1999 etc.

Hide behind the sofa from the Daleks? give me a break, I was terrified by the real bad guys, the Aliens from UFO thank the lord for those heroes Straker Foster Freeman and co for saving the day over and over and leaving me feeling it was safe to turn off the bedroom light.

ok,little name drop here i have had the great pleasure to have met and spoken to George Sewell on a number of occasions as I am involved with 'The Amazing Great Children's Party' run by Georges selected Charity 'Children With leukaemea' based at Great Ormond St.

Enough for now, i hope and plan to be a regular contributer to the group and to get me started i'd like to direct you all to Ebay where i am holding an auction for my unbuilt studio scale Shado mobile and Tiger Joe tank (for the tracks and wheels of course) see the links page.

regards

Richard

Pam McCaughey-2

Hi Richard and welcome to the UFO site - Marc's site rox! You're gonna love
it here! Like you, I was a Baby Boomer who watched all the classic SF from
the 60's and 70's - including Trek and UFO - both of which I consider some
of THE best ever made on either side of the Atlantic.

You are so fortunate to meet up with George - aka Alec - Sewell - and for
such a good cause!!!!
