Is the APEX AD660 DVD Player still hackable for Region 2?

JEK
Greetings.

Is the APEX AD660 DVD Player still hackable for Region 2? Last month I
picked up the A&E Thunderbirds tapes and right now I am looking a DVD
player. Given how many copies of Thunderbirds & Space:1999 are lying
around, I am beginning to despair of A&E's deciding to go ahead with
releasing UFO & Captain Scarlet next year.

Although I was unable to get my hands on an Apex last summer, due in part
to all of the MP3-burners amassing Napster files, the model AD660 is
available at my local Circut City store. Unfortunately, the website hack
page of
http://64.45.6.252/apex/index.html
no longer exists according to my browser. Does anybody have some advice
or suggestions that they would care to lend?

Thanks,

At this point, if you want multi-region, PAL/NTSC DVD, I'd get the
model being offered at the following website:

http://raite715.com

Although my trusty old Apex 600 (not 660) DVD player is playing all
the new region 2 PAL Gerry Anderson DVD's (Thunderbirds movies,
Stingray) just fine on my standard American TV set...

Thanks for the link, Marc! This turns out to be a third model that this
retailer has designated as a successor to both the Raite 715 and Apex 600
machines. Furthermore, it has a whole host of interesting features
(including PAL/NTSC translation) and is currently available for the
whopping low price of $219. I am now quite happy that I did follow my
impulses by snatching the Apex AD660 yesterday afternoon.
