It's Me!

atd1999
Hi gang,

Just thought I'd pop into SHADO for a bit as 2002 is shaping up to
be *the* year for UFO:

- CD set from Fanderson
- script book from Fanderson
- Carlton DVD release
- (Carlton) Special Edition DVD box set
- A&E DVD release
- French(?) DVD release

You might remember me from some years back or you might not. :)

Anyway, it's usually customary to introduce yourself first and then
reply to posts, but hey, why not mix things up a bit here and
there? :) BTW, sorry I didn't see that the "subtitles for the deaf"
thread had already been answered - I didn't read back far enough
before posting, though I have been browsing the list for a bit since
your move to Yahoo!Groups.

I'm currently planning on buying the A&E DVDs though I've been
tempted by the Carlton Box set, too.

Anyway -- just wanted to say 'hi'.

Anthony

Don't forget the UFO trading cards... :-)

Marc

P.S. I was hoping this year would also feature a new Chris Bentley
book "The Complete Book of UFO". Back in September Chris put in a
proposal to Carlton to write such a book, but unfortunately Carlton
never responded... :-(

That's terrible! I have Chris's Complete Thunderbirds book and it's great,
especially the photos of a young Brian Johnson and Keith Wilson working on
the puppet sets and models. I'm sure a UFO book following the same format
would have been terrific.

Maybe Fanderson themselves could publish it or POWYS media (Who are
publishing new Space 1999 novels next month!)

BTW Hi Anthony!

Seems like there are a whole lot of Anthonys and Paolos that like UFO.
