Hi folks from Cat - I watched the series as an enthralled kid here in New
Zealand. I THINK I recall seeing a clock display of some sort, digital in
nature, to do with UFO, but as I was pretty young back then it's hard to
recall the details. What I DO recall is the big old valve black-and-white TV
we watched it on. We didn't have colour TV in New Zealand in those days, you
see. When I first saw the revamped series in colour a couple of years ago I
confess I was mildly disappointed, it wasn't as I remembered it - until I
reached over and killed the colour on my TV, and the memories came pouring
back You wouldn't believe this probably, but those space shots, especially
on the Moon, seem so much more realistic in black and white!! The approach
of the deadly UFOs through the utter black of space, the famous shot of the
UFO crash-landing on the Moon in "Survival", it all came back to me.
BTW, my ASL - 40 years, male, Wellington, New Zealand.
