Greetings. Tis been awhile.
Last week, I received "Journey To The Far Side Of The Sun"
a.k.a. "Doppelganger" from Netflix.com. I had not watched the film in
at least 30 years; as long ago as the last time I saw UFO on the TV.
I must say, I was absolutely floored viewing the movie as it is the
spirit of UFO complete with a good chunk of the cast and many similar
gizmos. The look, the sound, the feel of the film embodied the UFO
experience.
If you've never seen this movie, or, like me, have not seen it in
quite sometime, definitely get it. While there's no Billington, there
are Bishop, Sewell, Sheybal and many other familiars (Marc, you need
to add this one to your UFO cast filmography).
Cheers,
Bob
"Imagine a dying planet in some distant corner of the universe. Its natural resources exhausted. Its inhabitants sterile. Doomed to extinction. A situation we may one day find ourselves in, gentlemen. So they discover earth. Abundant, fertile. Able to satisfy their needs. They look upon us not with animosity, but callousness. As we look upon our animals that we depend on for food. Yes, it appears they are driven by circumstance across a billion miles of space, driven on by the greatest force in the universe - survival."
