Keith Wilson, RIP

Hi all,

I'm hearing reports that Keith Wilson has passed away.  :-(

Keith did some of the design work in UFO, for example, the
Alien costume:

Oh, BTW, to clarify Keith's contributions to UFO, here is an
excerpt from an interview that I found online:

Question: You dropped back to Assistant Art Director on UFO.

Keith Wilson: Well, I was Bob Bell's assistant on that, but I was
doing a lot of the designing I designed all the clothes. They're
under Sylvia Anderson's name but I actually designed them.
And I was designing a lot of the sets, the interior of Skydiver,
sets like that.

Thanks, Marc. Sux that he's passed - any news as to cause of death?

So, HE designed the clothing? All these years, I thought it was Sylvia's
brainchild ....

Well, apparently *he* designed the clothing, while Sylvia took the
credit...

Keith Wilson was at the 1996 Fanderson Convention and I remember him mentioning he designed the clothing

Re: Keith Wilson, RIP

Matt
Quite a few of those who worked on the show are getting up there in years. Saddly I expect to hear more of them passing on.

Rest in peace, Keith. And thank you.

Wow!  And here I've credited Sylvia all these years for those truly wonderful clothes in the show.  (Of course, I know she didn't design the Nehru suits.)  But the fashions in UFO were way over the top, and they still shine on the screen.  Thanks for letting us know who was truly responsible for all that coolness.
Yours,
Denise

Straker, somehow it's always about you.
