I assume it's guys like you who are responsible for the sheer monotony of
the UFO Top 20 page on my frame capture site. (See

I AM SURE that picture will ALWAYS be in the top 20 UFO pictures. Sorry Lisa. At the time UFO came out I was young and innocent - (5th grade) - and just found out Girls definately DO NOT HAVE "Kooties" (Some desease you would catch if a another fifth grade girl kissed you if you were a boy). Lt Ellis hit right at the same time Hormones started to hit. Lt Ellis was one of my first "loves." She was a Babe when I was ten and she is still a "Babe" at forty!:) Imagin what Lt Ellis might do on modern late night television with todays lax standards for what you can get away with on television! What scens might a modern day Lt Ellis be involved in? (No Offense intended - the following scenarios are meant to stimulate conversation and innocent fun. I have the highest respect for women (or my wife and daughters would kill me)

Scene 1: Lt Ellis retires from a had day at the moonbase console and finds all THREE interceptor pilots waiting in her quarters. ... Bam - the ratings just go off the charts!

Scene 2: Lt Ellis falls under the mind control of Aliens and stroles into the Moonbase Command Sphere wearing nothing but a smile and demanding that Shado surrenders....:)

Scene 3: Lt Ellis and Colonel Lake find and attraction for one another and share a warm embrace and a deep passionate kiss. (Its not like two thirds of weekly programming like ALi McBeale - and countless others have not used such a tactic to gain ratings.)

Scene 4: Paul Foster is ABDUCTED (again!) by an ALIEN female Dominatrix (that looks just like LT Ellis - :)) and abuses him in an effort to get Shado to Surrender.

JUST in FUN Guys...please take it that way....

Okay just in fun here is one you didn't think of that would up the ratings.

Lt. Ellis is taking a shower when SID annouces incoming UFO's she grabs a
towel and sprints for the control sphere where she she takes over the center
console and takes charge. In no time flat the UFOs are space debris!
Comander Straker calls to congratulate Moonbase and finishes with "Lt. Ellis,
aren't you a bit out of uniform?" causing Gay to notice the placement of her
towel. (Placement of the towel is subject to what sort of ratings we are
aiming for!)

Okay, but that means it will have to be photographed with strategic placement
of camera angles so items of Moonbase equipment block the lower front of
Gay's anotomy. U.S. TV is way past time for allowing bare breasts but full
frontal nudity is still many years away unlike Canada and the rest of the
free world.

But on a serious note, I think full frontal nudity, or even
semi-nudity would have been a disaster in UFO. It's already too
easy to poke fun at, what with the purple wigs and other outlandish
fashions. Given the tendency of the general public to regard
sci-fi TV as inconsequential and superficial, I think topless
Moonbase girls would have been a bit of a disaster.

covers off is the equipment. Pinups of the Interceptors, SID, SkyDiver, the
Mobiles, Straker's car, the Jeeps etc are more his style. To each their own

Don't get me wrong, personally I'd love it if the Moonbase girls got
their jugs out every time there was a red alert. I just don't
think it would have done the programme's wider credibility or image a
lot of good.

Don't get me wrong either. We were talking about a idea of episode that
would be a one time thing. And on top of this we weren't talking of doing it
seriously but as a joke. But on the other had if it was done for real how
would that hurt crediblity? Nudity hasn't hurt the crediblity of other
Sci-Fi series. It was used in the cable versions of Outer Limits, Stargate
SG-1, the satellite version of The Lost World. It sure didn't hurt the
credibility of Star Trek The Next Generation when in a episode they had
Picard walk into a art class and you could she the female artist model
totally nude backside and this was on local channels in syndication. And
just to give you one more it didn't hurt the credibility when in Space:1999
in the episode Mission of The Darians you got to see briefly the bare breast
of the female body being stripped as it was picked up for "recycling".

The fashions may seem "Outladish" now but they were "Mod" (Or should I say FAB?) then. A lot of styles look silly twenty or thirty years down the road.As far as nudity goes, I would be willing to bet that there might be some in the UFO movie if it ever gets off the launch pad. It seems like you can't make any kind of movie now with out a gartudious (SP?) sex scene or two in it.
