Lunar Module & Moonbase.

I would`ve thought the most obvious way to
move between the Lunar Module & Moonbase is to
have an entry/exit hatch on the floor of the pilot/passenger section, & an
entry/exit hatch
on the LM support gantry on Moonbase. That would cut out the need for
space-suits etc.

There would obviously be an elevator within the gantry for crew and
passenger usage, in the same vein as those used on the APOLLO/Saturn V
rocket launch gantry.
