MY SPOOKIEST "UFO" MOMENTS

Ed Top
I don't know if you will agree, but there are moments in "UFO" which I've always
considered to be quite creepy and I'd like to share them with you. Firstly,
there are two spooky moments in "ESP" - one where Croxley is stopped by security
blokes on the way home. The other is when Straker, Freeman and Croxley are
standing in the demolished house at night talking to each other - it's rather
like they're having a seance. The next moment is from "The Psychobombs" when
Linda is walking through the woods back to her car and is suddenly released from
the trance-like state and wonders what she is doing there. There is a quiet
piece of creepy incidental music which kicks in at this point and it always
makes me feel uneasy. Good on ya, Barry! My final choice for sheer creepiness is
from "A Question of Priorities" when the alien walks past Mrs O'Connor's window
and knocks over the milk bottle - then she opens the door!!

Whilst on the subject of Linda from 'Psychobombs' (I can still visualise that red PVC dress), Deborah Grant (who played her), starred in this weeks episode of the sitcom 'Not Going Out'as Lucy's mother.

For UK members, here is the BBC iplayer link

That's probably the sexiest dress in Tv history. I know exactly what scene you
are on about.
It is re-used on an unknown actress in the corridor of Harlington Straker
Studios in Timelash. Where everyone is "frozen" in time relative to Cdr Straker
& Col Lake; Ron Pember is clearly seen eying up her cleaveage.
