Hi all,

I just added a clip of Sylvia Anderson discussing the purple
wigs:

This clip appeared on the out-of-print French UFO DVDs.
It was recorded in 1992 -- I don't know what it was
for...

thanks a lot for uploading! looking at her pullover she still seems to have a foible for the colour purple / violet LOL.

have to admit i never thought the purple wigs' main purpose was to be handy and time-saving.

Ed Bishop & Gabrielle Drake at Fanderson 2000 convention!

Hi all,

I've just uploaded another lengthy (43 min) convention
interview video -- this time, from the 2000 Fanderson
"Century 21" convention, featuring Ed Bishop and
Gabrielle Drake being interviewed by Chris Bentley.

Thanks to ISOSHADO for filming this, sending it to
me, and granting permission for its use online.

Note that it may be a bit difficult to hear what
is being said, as the audio is being picked up
by a camcorder from a distance, and not hooked
up directly to the microphones. I did however
take steps to improve the audio from what came
out of the camcorder.

Oh, P.S., note that this video is not the entire interview,
as it is missing one question from the audience. I
think perhaps the camcorder needed a tape change, so
most of Q&A was missing, and I edited out the rest.

The question was:

"What's it like to have been immortalized for all time
as the coolest man on TV and the sexiest woman?"

And the whole exchange can be read on Lorraine Meyer's

(and yes, the fact that there is a transcript must

By the way, if anyone wants an even higher resolution version
of this animation, I used the following as my source material:

This is a 25MB divx file. Note that the aspect ratio on this
one is wrong -- it should be 16:9, but shows up as 4:3 on
my computer (I corrected this on the downscaled version
on my website)
