I just finished watching "Mindbender". I think the aliens went too
far in trying to brake Straker, they just strengthened his resolve. I
have one question, why did "Mike" (Col. Paul Foster) smile when
Straker hit him? Was he an alien who thought the plan to drive Straker
mad was working?
I don't like the former Mrs. Straker. She knew when she married an
airforce colonel assigned to inteligence that her husband wouldn't be
working a 9-5 job. Even without knowing about SHADO she should have
known Ed would be working odd hours and that he'd have to keep secrets
from her. And what happened to Johnny years later was her fault not
Ed's.
