My Skydiver has arrived !

After over a 30 year wait I have a superb replica of one of my most favorite
pieces of SHADO hardware.

Knowing the post had tried to deliver it yesterday and my wife was
collecting it today I could hardly wait to get home !

As I collect die cast models anyway my expectations were high after aquiring
an eagle transporter and I had completly cleared one shelf in my display
cabinet just for this.

If anyone is thinking about buying one all I can say is save up, sell the
family jewels you will not regret it ! (eBay have several up as Buy It
Now's)

The click fitting of Sky 1, into Skydiver is very secure (I was too careful
at first in case I wrecked it by pushing to hard but I checked with PE
first) and it looks the business.

Coincedentally I ordered a Konami Skydiver last week and they both came in
the same delivery, I have used the display plinth from this to hold the PE
version off the shelf.

I also have a question for the group -
The UFO which comes with the PE Interceptor looks to small (from a scale
point of view) and looks like it would be a better match next to Skydiver,
if these were to have a scale would this be a correct assumption ?

Next -
I asked a couple of weeks ago if there was anyone in the UK willing to share
the cost of an Interceptor/UFO set as all I would like is the UFO. It would
be an opportunity for someone looking to start a display of three
interceptors but I have not had any replys yet.
