NEW! photos of Konami UFO trading figures

Marc Martin
Administrator
Hi all,

Last week we bought our first digital camera, and what better way to
experiment with it than to take photos of the new Konami UFO trading
figures? On my "Models & Vehicles" page I've added photos of all the
figures:

Enjoy!

Cool! Thanks for the pix.
Incredible details, especially the Lt. Ellis figure :-)
but isn't the hair supposed to be purple?

Excellent! Good picture of Lt Ellis figure btw. I think it's cute they
really caught the way she looks in the uniform.

And you have really clean carpet Marc! : - ) Are you happy with the
camera? I bought a Sony Mavica a few months ago (The version that also uses
the Memory stick....not just the disk) and I love it. I'm finding now
places that will make real prints out of these digital photos so using a
digital picture for a Christmas card picture looks like it might be a bit
easier this year.

Actually, we *don't* have a clean carpet... I even pointed out to
Tracy: "hey, look how clean our carpet looks in these shots!" She
was appalled that I had taken a photo of Lt. Ellis' butt. :-)

Well, I've only had it for a week, and am still trying to figure out
how it works. But so far so good. Photo quality is acceptable,
which was my biggest worry (I got a Canon A40)

Hmmm... her hair *is* purple on the figure, but on the photos it's
blue... need to turn off the "auto white balance", I suppose. But
for a quick fix, I've used my photo-editor to "purple-ize" her hair.
Done.

Her hair looks purple on my monitor.
Very nice photos Marc of everything. I did see that they include something
that the large model kits of Gay Ellis seem to forget of perhaps I have just
forgot that they included it but I see that this tiny figure of her has her
diamond knuckle duster<g> er ring I mean.

Marc if Tracy is upset over you photographing the butt of this tiny plastic
figure of Gay what the heck happen when I sent you those photos from my
collect for you to copy for your files? You are still living!
