Neil McDonough as Ed Straker

Mark Davies-3
Very interesting.Similarities with Ed Bishop.American (obviously) A strong family man with convictions. An English connection (he trained as an actor at The London School of Dramatic Art)

One advantage over Ed is that he already has blonde hair.

Having seen and "listened" to an interview with him and placing some dialogue spoken by Ed Bishop with the white suit and dark glasses.Yeah,I can see him in the role.

Having said all that, probably won't be him.

Was Neil McDonough in Band of Brothers?
I'm not sure about him as Straker, he's more of a supporting role. Straker needs to have more carisma.

I think George Clooney would make a good Straker or is he to famous. I think Clooney has a serious side to him but also had charm similar to Ed Bishop.

I think George Clooney is probably too old at this point... after all,
this is going to be a trilogy... :-)

But yes, when thinking of who would make a good Straker, George Clooney
does come to (my) mind...

What a pity we haven't got someone like Richard Widmark around now. He would have been fabulous!
Johhny Depp? Not really the right look?
Orlando Bloom...Nah
Oh well, perhaps they haven't chosen anyone yet!
