Hi all,

Paolo Malaguti tells me that in Japan, there is now a "Volume 2" UFO
soundtrack CD. Does anyone have web link to a place we could buy that
from?

Interesting... Anyone know whence it originates? It is certainly expensive
(about £25) and, the balance of opinion seems to be it ain't much cop...

That link was to the first Japanese UFO soundtrack, which I have some pictures
of an MP3 from at:

http://ufoseries.com/music

I'm sure that people don't like it because it's not the original music,
but re-recordings. Some of the re-recordings aren't that bad, but
on the whole I'd sure be dissappointed not getting the original recordings.

Hi all,

Paolo sent me a scan of the track listing for that new Japanese
UFO soundtrack CD, and it appears to me that this is just a bootleg.
A couple years ago someone found a 2-CD bootleg UFO CD for sale
at a US sci-fi con (this was before the Fanderson 2-CD soundtrack
came out), and this one appears to be a 1-CD version (fewer tracks)
of this. Here's the scan Paolo sent me:

http://ufoseries.com/temp/tracks.jpg

Note that the old 2-CD bootleg is the source of most of the MP3s
on my music page at:

Thanks, Marc. Wow... I knew the Japanese were fanatical about Gerry
Anderson but I'm blown away that they have actually done a re-recording of
UFO
incidental music. Even if it's not all that brilliant I have to have it! I
clearly should have searched your site more thoroughly...!

Cheers

Nick
