Hi

I've probably already broken the golden rule by not sticking to the immediate subject. I sent an email the other day without introducing myself and talking about Straker's hair. so here goes ignore the other email if it was posted to your boxes.

I used to watch UFO when I was a kid and was very happy to find that UFO had been released in Australia on DVD. Straker was always my favourite character so I was shocked to learn that Ed Bishop wasn't a natural blonde and he had died.

I am also a SPACE 1999 fan and have noticed many similarities between the two shows. Anyway, enough said I will hopefully learn a lot from reading all the messages on the SHADO site.

Welcome to the group! No, you didn't break any golden rule --
it's just that the list has had some troublemakers lately, so
the moderation is a bit more strict than usual...

This is a great group and Marc runs it well. I've learned a lot from this
list beside's UFO related information.
