New Mobile model

Branko

You can find photos of the upcoming big SHADO Mobile model by Product Enterprise (which morphed into Iconic Replicas) here: http://www.productenterprise.com/ir/ufo_mobile.html
Not much details, but some people might find it interesting...
All the best,
Branko

Branko,

Do you have any idea/information on how big the SHADO Mobile will be?

I imagine that it will be the same size as the version made
for the show ("studio sized").

The big question is "how much will it cost?". These large
models from Product Enterprise are quite expensive...

Their website also mentions a UFO Interceptor and Skydiver...

Interesting... The only reply I got for this topic was from Marc, and it contains part of the question that I never saw before (the one about measurements of the model - to what i Don't know exact answer). It seems asome of the messages from the group does not come through. Is anybody else experiencing this?
All the best,

Re: New Mobile model

Griff
I have noticed this before. I used to reply/create messages to the
group directly through my email client (MS Outlook), and sometimes my
responses did not appear even though I knew they were sent (...could
have been edited out ;)

I now reply through the Yahoo Group website, and haven't had any
trouble since.

Sometimes, I get a load of 'SHADO' emails in a 'burst', even though I
can see that they were sent at different times, or even on different
days...

The majority of the time everythings fine.

Best to all :)

Griff

I kinda figured that, LOL. So approximately how big would that make them?

As for price, all the Thunderbirds replicas show an MSRP of 400 British Pounds, and The Eagle replicas were the same. A ballpark figure for the Mobile would probably be the same (hopefully not any higher).

It might be that your hotmail account is filing some of the messages
into its "junk mail" folder. Most spam / junk mail filters are far
from perfect.

I don't know the size of the studio-sized SHADO Mobile, although I
have seen them displayed at a Fanderson convention, so SOMEONE must
know.

This website will help you with the answers you require - I go under
the name Barrington Bond there but haven't posted anything for a
couple of months...new babies and old parents eat up your free time.

You've seen them IN PERSON, but you can't make an educated, ballpark
estimate? 1 foot long. 18 inches long? 2 feet long? You're killin'
me here, Marc, LOL!! : )

Well, I figured that someone here would know it down to the
millimeter... :-)

I'd say they were about 2 feet long.

Although now that I say that, I recall that I've seen a previous
posting indicating that the new Product Enterprise SHADO Mobile
might "only" be 10 - 14 inches long:

http://www.eagletransporter.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2567

The current PE Mobile that I have is 6.75" long.

Fair Enough! Thanks for the estimate. I was guessing between 18" and 2 feet. Hopefully closer to 2 feet, for the price of $800 US (approximately).
Can't wait to see the finished product.

I've still got to check out the link that Barry so kindly provided (Thanks, Barry!!!).

10-14"? Count me out, for 800 bucks. 18-24", count me in.

That seems odd, my PE Mobiles are the same size as yours!!! ; )

Sure you can... take a look at the recommended software
options on the top of the "movie clips" page. There should
be at least 3 options that should work for you:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/mac/default.aspx
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html

Nope, I get error messages after the install and I assume this is
because of my Mac newbieness.

I'll check out the video later after my PC is fixed.
