What is that very short sound clip that they play before each episode;
where the red spike goes into the "Gerry Anderson Productions" target blue
screen, right before they show the alien eye opening?
....And where might I get that sound clip from? I want to use it as an
alarm sound on my computer.

If you edit the beginning off of this clip, then you'd have it:

Just as an additional info, the shareware sw Audio Edit DeLuxe may be of
help to record/edit sound tracks.
It basically records any sound played by the PC which can be later edited.
MP3 format.
