Egads. The paint on the PE mobiles is atrocious. Why are
they "weathered" so much? If I remember correctly, the mobiles always
either looked to be in pretty pristine condition, or were blown up. I
don't recall seeing anything in-between. Of course, I could be wrong.

Ken A.
Jeff, you are right.
I still have not received my mobile sample from Fabgearusa.
(Did they send them back to China for a repaint?)
However, I have seen many photos of PE mobiles and have made a few
mental notes from
what I saw beyond the paint issues.
Those wishing to have relatively accurate miniature can do so, but
with some effort.
The upper body appears to be correct in shape.
The suspension is not.
It has a rearward leaning look that makes the mobile to tall in the
front.
In looking at my reference photos of the profile of a mobile, it
actually has forward lean to
it making it appear higher in the back.
A suspension conversion made with polystyrene paneling would be the
easiest way to
correct this i.e. - relocate the road wheel positions.
Also it looks like the decals that they have used are not the correct
type font.
