New Series - New slant?

Just a thought - in 'Court Martial` Straker said he was C-in-C of SHADO
Operations, plus in other storylines there has been several references to a
seperate & adjacent group,
SHADO Intelligence.

Has anyone considered the possibility that
IF a new series is made, it could be wholly based within the SHADO
Intelligence unit, with just the occasional reference to SHADO Ops, Straker
etc.

Hi Kevin and all - in most of my own UFO fan fic I have main characters
which have transferred over to SHADO's intelligence-MIB-scientific sister
organization - which I dubbed The Omega Corporation. HQ'ed in NYC, Omega is
a computer company which manufactures mainstream hardware and software, as
well as doing defence contracts for various countries around the world. It
keeps them in touch with items being developed elsewhere which SHADO could
put to use long before the public gets them in the war against the aliens.

I do write many stories with Straker as the focal point, and I have written
some which pre-date the actual series timeline which take place in the
1970's before SHADO is really the force we see it as in the series. I've
done two crossovers for the 1970's time period: one with the Man from Uncle
(dated 1972) and one with The Man from Atlantis (dated 1975).

It seemed to me that SHADO had to have a sister organization to do some of
the think-tank stuff as SHADO itself in the series appeared to be almost
wholly military oriented.

Or perhaps a main series - UFO - which produces a spin-off series, much like CSI and its variants.
