New UFO Model Photos

Wow, some of those photos with the UFO spinning look like they
could have been taken from the show!

Thanks Marc.

That's the aim.I am very happy with the results of the spinning UFO Saucers as well.

On the show much more time and effort was put into creating the landed effects.
I realised this after trying to recreate the UFO that crash landed in Canada.Getting the right lighting and position of the craft was hard going.Unfortunately a green Towel and plastic trees will always look like what they are.

Having said that I think the composition of these particular effects are the best I have been able to acheive.I updated them again only last night.

If you would like to have one of the models identical to the sort in the photos,simply go the The FABGEAR website,check on the left hand side for Gerry Anderson Message Board.Go to the UFO board and look on page 2 at the bottom of the page for "miniature UFO model Instructions"

You can easily build one yourself using these very detailed instructions.You don't need to be a model maker either.I am a member of the proverbial ten thumbed society and I've made a number of them.

As I wrote the instructions you can be sure that they will guide you every step of the way.There is nothing complex,no drills,expensive tools or materials.All you need is a minimal amount of time and a little application,

A couple of instructions have changed,since I wrote the little booklet.If you are interested in having a go,let me know and I will update you after you have read through everything.
