Hi, I'm Rebecca, a new member. I loved UFO as a child and now I've just received the 8-disc box set. I've been going through it. The special fx are great and the clean up job on the original prints looks like it was filmed yesterday. I love the purple wig uniforms, all gloriously restored.

But I'd never seen A Question of Priorities and was shocked by its outcome.I was disappointed by that one.

I wish we could have heard the aliens speak. I think they would have made them sound like Russians because of the Cold War.

They say that racism was overcome in the mid 70s, but one thing obviously was not: the British class sytem. Everyone at shodow sounds like an upper crust Princess Diana public school type, especially Gay on the moon. Different races were accepted but not if they spoke like Scousers, Glaswegians, Geordies or people from Manchester. That, along with the smoking, makes the series look dated.

Just my first impressions.

The plot twist from a question of priorities is a old one used many times. In Star Trek lore, does the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one? :)
