Newbie

Hello all,
I only joined the other day, being a early forties male I have fond
memories of watching the show as a kid(when they took of the aliens
contacts is one scene that sticks in my mind).
Anyhow just saying hi- will try and post as much as poss but to be
honest everyones knowledge of the show makes me feel a little
inadequate but hopefully I should get over that.

Forgive me if this is old news to some people, but I was watching "The
Italian Job" the other day with Micheal Caine, and one of the minor
characters in it looked an awefully lot like the guy who played Mark Bradley
the interceptor pilot, and he sounded a lot like him too, when he spoke.
Is it the same actor?

he was a long-time friend of Michael Caine's.

Welcome to the club steve. Dont worry about not knowing everything. Once you start posting you will be amazed at the information you will learn. I read even the tech stuff because you never know what you may learn. I like the episodes that dont have Straker's family in them. I always felt so sorry that he was guarding the earth at the cost of his relationships to his wife and son. It was great sci fi at the time. bsl
