Hi all you groovy people,
Just thought I would pass this important news on to people who are intending
to attend the Eclectic 21 con in which Mike Billington and Ed Bishop are
confirmed guests
As expected, since we have announced Mike B as a guest, the registrations
have picked up a head of steam. Now, if you are going to register, I
strongly advise you to do it as soon as you can. Part of the reason for this
is because we have an attendance limit of 250 people (we have about 100
registrations to date)so if you want to come - get in quick.
The other reason is because the hotel have stated that anybody who wishes to
stay in the hotel and pay the convention room rate which is substantially
lower than the normal tariff, they have to be registered with the convention
by May 14th. So even if there are places available after this date and you
want to come, you will end paying the full tariff which I think is over £70
per person per night:-( I am sorry about this, infact I am quite annoyed
with the hotel for springing this on us, but there is nothing I can do about
it other than pass on this news which I suspect, will be especially useful
for any Americans who maybe intent on attending.
