We could debate about who would be best playing who IF a UFO film was ever made for ever and never agree. But going back to the point raised, that no one is as hairy as Foster, I would like to relate an observation that a fellow fan and I made. One day, whilst discussing UFO we got onto the subject of the Skydiver sub uniforms. My friend tried to argue that the vests that they wore (you know, like a long sleeved string vest!) didn't have anything beneath them but changed his mind when I pointed out that Paul Foster would look like he had millions of spiders crawling on his chest if there wasn't. We spent many hours discussing such fine features and miss talking to him about them.

I will never be able to see the Sky Diver crew working through a tense moment or battle scene without thinking about your observations of the utilitarian atributes of the Shado Skydiver Uniform and Paul Fosters physical characteristics. I have often thought of Lt Ellis sporting the fishnet top without benefit of the lining. I am sure that such a uniform might be so distrcting that the Skydiver Pilot might accidentally run Skydiver a ground While Lt Ellis was on watch. Ahhh...The episodes that could have been. :) |
My favourite scene of the whole series is Lieutenant Ellis in the
changerooms, second is the one where she walks down the corridor and the camera zooms in on her. <heavy sigh> > > I will never be able to see the Sky Diver crew working through a tense moment or battle scene without thinking about your observations of the utilitarian atributes of the Shado Skydiver Uniform and Paul Fosters physical characteristics.
