It's kind of a shame no one ever did a Playstation, X-box or other version of UFO as a game! I'd think there were lotsa possibilities for that...even "Independence Day" as well as "Stargate"had a couple games out....oh well, nobody appreciates class like we all do!

Mark, I have tried the fast link to the page in your email but so far no go. Defender was close but you could only move up and down, move forward only when you advanced to another level. It would have been cool if they had shown the defender ship leaving the moon. Oh well. If wishes were fishes we would all have food.

Re: Not a UFO game but relevant

SHADO
To see the game Mark is talking about, go here:
http://hub.ebay.com/buy?ssPageName=h:h:cat:US

When you get there, type 4778379307 (which is the item #) in the search box, then click "search".

In DEFENDER, you could fly up, down, and back and forth across the screen (at least in the arcade version). When completed with the screen (level) you were on, your ship would automatically advance to the next screen (level).
