November 1977

Thought I'd pass along some more of the relics I'd found. Here's the
contents page of the SHADO USCC Handbook for November 1977. The pages
are too faded to scan and while I'd love to track down the authors and
get their permission, I don't think I'd want to tackle typing 52
pages.

One of the great "bonus items" was a 3X5 glossy photo every bit as
good as the one included with the new member kit (I just wish Straker
had moved ove a bit to afford a better view of Colonel Lake. Thank you
Dale and Evelynn, wherever you are!!!

Does anybody know what became of Evelyn?

who not only makes up three-fourths of the SHADO-USCC staff, but who
also has permanent black fingernails from typing, printing, "mimeo"-ing,
collating, stapling, stamping (three times), stuffing, and mailing this
fanzine. She has also run the club and held my hand during these past
months while I have been sick. For this, my special thanks.
