On the other hand, you guys have things on video that
I would kill for out here. TV shows long forgotten in
the US are given new life in the UK. Frankly, I'm
surprised 1999, UFO, Danger Man, The Avengers, etc are
even on DVD here. But, they're all British, so that
usually means "classy" (even through your comedies are
as raunchy as ours - but somehow you're funnier).
Imagine A&E video putting out Lost In Space or Voyage
to the Bottom of the Sea or The Six Million Dollar
Man. Hah!<<

You never know. A&E is doing well with their cult TV line of DVDs. If
Fox finally determines they aren't going to release the material, A&E
might be interested. They're releasing a lot of Anderson material
that is going to take forever to reach the UK (if it ever does) like
SUPERCAR, which is in release now, and SECRET SERVICE.

As for LOST IN SPACE, here's a link with info about the release of
season one and other Irwin Allen productions:

On the other hand, A&E did put out a region 1 boxed set of Monty
Python - something which has only been made available in the UK
on DVD in a very limited way (a single DVD compilation from
early episodes)
