Martin Landau did win an Oscar for playing Lugosi in Ed Wood
(directed by Tim Burton--in my not-so-humble opinion, Landau's
brilliance in the role had nothing to do with the director). At
least, I'm pretty sure he did, but I stopped taking the Oscars
seriously back in the 70s, so I'm not really up on that award show
trivia.
Also, Landau's daughter, Juliet, is a brilliant actress, if you ever
get the chance to see her in anything.
