Just a note mentioning a posible resource for SHADO members here. I recently
found my old SPACE:1999 CommLok walkie-talkies, neither of which worked and
one of which had been painted way back when. I mentioned them on the Alpha
E-groups and Gil wrote back saying he might be able to do somethine with
them.
Well, he certainly did. Now both look almost as good as they did when I got
them in 1976 and he even got them working again. One of them couldn't be
brought back 100% since time and space have taken their toll, but it can
recieve and send signals---any morse code tutor programs out there?
The reason I mentioned it here is that from time to time the subject of
model creation and fabrication comes up
and I thought Moonbase Models would be a good addition to the list of
possible resources. He even fabricates/replicates ships, etc. from sci fi
shows for fun and profit. In case anyone is interested, here's the addy...
