OT - The new Captain Scarlet

Ken Parker
Fanderson confrimed the start of 'season 2'

The second season of Gerry Anderson's New Captain Scarlet (comprising
episodes 14 to 26) is set to air on ITV in the UK from September 3rd.
As with the previous first run episodes, the series will appear as part
of the Saturday morning children's show Ministry Of Mayhem.

Even if you haven't seen this series, check it out and then purchase
the `first season' DVD available in the UK on October 17 to catch up.
The series has been excellent so far and only looks to get better.

ITV obviously do not want this series to succeed, do they? It's typical of the way they have treated Gerry Anderson's shows. By putting it in amongst the dumbed down trash tha goes out as Ministry of morons they are making sure that nobody watches it. Then when they pretend that they're going to give it a repeat in a more accessible slot, without brain dead morons yammering away and floating messages over the programme, what do they do? With four episodes to go, they decide not to show it, but they don't tell us - we have to find out the hard way when they substitute some other pile of pap for it. They think we're too stupid for explanations, so ther'e no apology, no explanation, nothing. Looks like it's all designed to make people fork out for the DVDs.
