Thanks for that John.Yes I found it irresistable,to go through
TIMELASH and check it out against this photo.Previously John you thought that the low wall scene was outside L and M stages.In fact it is quite clearly to the rear of J stage.
Its very noticeable that the opening chase sequence and almost the entire episode is shot and edited in very tight locations around J and K stages and the empty backlot area to the right of the car park (very evident from the photo).Some scenes were also filmed on the other part of the backlot,but identifying exactly where is difficult as much of the temp scenery would make identification difficult.
Going bak to the opening pursuit of Straker,it makes you realise the illusion created by the editor who cuts shots together which location wise have no relation to each other in reality.For instance the sequence starts from the frontage of J and K where the hovercraft is found
and ends up on top of that frontage where Straker abandoned the Molly and the unconscious Lake.
One other place I have managed to identify is the Property dept.On the 1970 photo look at the rear of J and K then walk down the road towards the large white stages.The first building you come to with what looks like glass in the roof is the property dept entrance.
I think you are right John regarding the the chase in the two small cars.That takes place on the left hand side of the studios not pictured in the 1970 photo.There are what looks like smoke stacks in TIMELASH,these can be seen in the
modern photo you referred to a little while ago.
