Potential actors in a the new UFO movie

Hi,

My wife and I were talking over who would make good potential actors in a the new UFO movie, and my wife mentioned Benedict Cumberbatch (War Horse, Sherlock Holmes, etc.) for maybe Colonel Foster or even Colonel Freeman...

...I hadn't realised until now that he is Wanda Ventham's son.

I think Joshua Jackson is already slated for the Colonel Foster role. Benedict would probably good for the Colonel Freeman role.

Joshua Jackson was slated for that role way back when filming was supposed
to be a year or two ago.  Who knows who will be available whenever filming
really starts (if it ever starts!)

Joshua Jackson was slated for that role way back when filming was supposed

I believe in the latest Tron movie, they had a actor who had his face altered with CGI to look like a young Jeff Bridges.

Um, I know this is off topic, but why wouldn't they just alter Jeff
Bridges to look like a younger Jeff Bridges??

easier to get both actors on the screen at the same time.  They did the same thing to have Arnold appear in the latest Terminator movie, took a image from the first movie and put it on another persons body.    In the Running Man, they used CGI to make it look like they killed Arnold (movie premise).  In the movie, Looker, the not talked about premise was they digitally scanned people to produce totally digital movies that looked like real people.  Then killed off the people so they didn’t have to pay residuals
