Pretty please?

Denise Felt
You know, life would be so much easier if I just lived in England! Well, I
need your valuable assistance once more, this time for my current story.
The info about flats is for #18, which is almost ready to go. If I can get
#17 finished!!!

I've got Fred the drummer needing to be bailed out of jail, and I'm
wondering if it's done the same way in England as it is in the States. You
know, posting bond and getting them out until their court date. Please let
me know all the details, and I promise not to ask how you know!!!
Yours,
Denise

More or less the same apart from the terminology I believe. We
don't have 'posting bond' whatever that is .. but there is a
court hearing at which a magistrate, or possibly a judge will
determine whether bail is appropriate. If it is, they will be
'released on bail' with someone providing a sum of money as a
guarantee that they will turn up in court at the appointed time.

I'm afraid I'm not au-fait with all the legal jargon but hope
this helps anyway.
