That's too bad, looks like I won't be ordering anything then.
The reason I am skittish is that I have wired funds overseas twice for goods and both times I have gotten nothing; no goods, no money back, nothing. My only recourse was to press charges in the country that I was defrauded in, and as stated before, I have neither the time nor resources to do that.
I won't do it again. I will think about sending him a USPS Postal Money Order if he will accept it, but beyond that, count me out.

Following up on Paolo Malaguti not being able to accept PayPal
payments for his UFO photo sale, he contacted PayPal and
received a reply that PayPal does not currently support
Italian banks which don't have an American branch.
He also looked into using BidPay, but they only send out
checks in American dollars, which also isn't of much good
because of the added high cost of converting such
a check into Euros.
Also, I'm a bit skeptical about Anthony's concern's about
the lack of safety in interbank wire transfers, as I did
some Internet searches on the subject and couldn't find
any evidence that this is a problem. Unless you know of
a specific site that states this, Anthony?
Also, having collected UFO items from all around the world
through the years, I know that if a fan *really* wants
an item, they'll figure out a way to make the deal work --
after all, finding something you want and finding someone
willing to sell it to you for a reasonable price is
generally the most difficult part in UFO collecting
these days...
